Sarova Hotels:- They are the antique of English colony in Kenya. Most of the hotels are renovated and well maintained. They are not private hotels rather chain of hotels. In Nairobi there two in Mombasa one and most of the National parks in Kenya have at least one Sarova game park Hotel. Below are just a few of them listed

- Stanley Hotel – Top of the Sarova Hotels, very well maintained hotel and clean one of my favourite in Nairobi for city holidays. Breakfast is just amazing in this Hotel at the restaurant outside. But one thing is just in is situated inthe middle of City centre. The air can be quite polluted too because of the traffic.
- Panafric Hotel – It is located in the City too but some few meters away from the city centre. It is a little bit lower than Stanley but quite magnificent too. Very well maintained and good for lunch. It is quite cheaper than Stanley and at times they have offer for their rooms.
- Whitesands Mombasa – it is situated at the Coastline (Indian Ocean) and believe me it is top hotel in Mombasa. Why? Interior design and materials are world class compared to other hotels in Mombasa. The sea view from their rooms is just perfect and amazing. Cheaper if you book half pension. Full pension is ok but then alcohol is not free, you have to pay. It is my favourite in Mombasa, Restaurants are good too with all the monkeys coming to steal food from your table, and the crows too.! Very child friendly too, you can leave your kids at the kid centre to learn some little bit of Swahili!
- Sarova woodlands – Located in Nakuru Park. Each day at the park or in the hotel you are to pay too but a very nice hotel for day tour
Raddisson Blu Hotel:- Located in Nairobi only and one is in Upper hill and the other is a new one in Arboretum. Unfortunately they are only big cities hotels. Arboretum is really quite and easy hotel, but little bit cost effective. Located just next to the park in Nairobi where you can enjoy your holidays unpolluted.
Crown Plaza Nairobi :- One of the top hotels and modern, the are seemingly new hotels too. Very classy for people who like style. They are cheaper to book if you are a member of the group Hotels. Crown plaza are chain Hotels, mostly are business people who book with them because they travel world wide.

Serena Hotels :- One is located in Nairobi, little bit pricey but one of the top Hotels in Kenya. Very high standards compared to most hotels and the other is located in Maasai Mara in the park.
Hilton Hotel:- The only old sky scraper hotel that defines the image of Nairobi City. The rooms are little bit old, needs little bit renovation.
